Terms of service
The agreement between you and us, in plain words. Using Approved means agreeing to these terms.
For questions, refunds and data deletion, email us at [email protected].
Who we are
Approved is run by XO LABS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13849479), registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, United Kingdom.
Approved creates, schedules and publishes social media posts for your business, including their pictures and captions. We make them from your own website and from the photos and instructions you give us. You approve every post before it goes anywhere.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox, because it is how you recover your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for making sure anyone you invite to your account is allowed to act for your business.
You must be at least 18 and using Approved for a business. If you connect a social media account, you must be allowed to post to it.
Paying for Approved
The plan is priced per brand, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. The current prices are always on the pricing page. Adding a brand adds its price to your bill from the day you add it, and pausing or removing a brand reduces your bill. Stripe handles payments, and we never see or store your card number.
You can cancel at any time from Settings. Everything keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for, and your posts and photos stay yours. Your first payment comes with a 14-day refund promise, described in the refund policy.
If a payment fails, nothing stops immediately. We tell you, and we try the payment again for a few days before the plan pauses.
Your content, and what we make for you
What you give us stays yours: your website content, your photos, your words. You give us permission to use them for one purpose: running Approved for your business. That means reading your website, making your posts, and publishing the ones you approve to the accounts you connected.
The posts we make for you are yours too. To the extent we hold any rights in them, we hand those rights to you. In some countries, the law may not give copyright protection to content made by AI. We cannot change that, but as between you and us, that content is yours.
You are responsible for the photos you upload: only upload what you took or have the right to use, and if a photo shows an identifiable person, make sure they are fine with it appearing in your marketing.
Posts published to a platform are also subject to that platform's own rules.
Fair use
Do not use Approved for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful. This includes content that infringes someone else's rights, spam, and misleading claims about your business. We can refuse to generate or publish content that breaks this rule, and close accounts that repeatedly do.
The plan's allowances (posts, pictures, brands) are described on the pricing page and in the app. We may refuse use that is clearly automated abuse rather than a business running its own social media.
What we promise, and the limits
We work hard to keep Approved fast, accurate and available, and we build every post from facts found on your own website or given by you. But no service is perfect. Content can contain mistakes, so review each post before you approve it. Platforms can refuse or delay posts, and outages can happen.
To the extent the law allows: Approved is provided as it is, we are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities), and our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Closing your account, and changes to these terms
You can close your account at any time. The privacy policy describes what happens to your data. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with notice where the situation allows it.
When we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by email before the change applies. If you keep using Approved after that, you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. However, if you are a consumer elsewhere, your local mandatory protections still apply.
