What Analytics shows
Open Analytics from the side menu. At the top, choose a time period: the last 7, 28 or 90 days, this month, last month, or two dates you pick. Each number is compared with the same number of days just before it.
The four main numbers are:
- People reached: how many people saw your posts, as each platform reports it. We add it up across your accounts and days, so one person can be counted more than once.
- Engagement: likes, comments, shares and saves, added together.
- Followers: your total across your connected accounts, and how much it changed in that period.
- Posts published: how many posts went out in that period. A post that went to 3 accounts counts as 3.
Below those, you'll find:
- reach or engagement, day by day
- each connected account on its own row
- the posts that did best
- what works best by theme and by format, as average engagement per post
- if you've connected Google Business Profile, what people did after finding you on Google: views of your listing, calls, direction requests and website clicks
- if you use Inbox, how many replies you sent and how long people usually waited for one
Once a post has numbers, you can also see them when you open the post in Calendar, with a link to open it on the platform.
Get your numbers by email every Monday
Every Monday morning, we email you last week's numbers: people reached, interactions, followers, posts published and your top post. If nothing went out that week, we don't send it. We also email you when you reach a milestone, like your 10th post, and when your first month is up.
To stop these emails, turn off Weekly report and milestones in Settings > Notifications.
When the numbers update
We update each post's numbers every hour, for posts from the last 30 days. Each account's totals, including reach, engagement and followers, update once a day. Some platforms are slower to report: Instagram and Facebook can take a day to report reach, and Google reports 2 to 3 days late. The top of the page shows when the numbers were last updated.
Why a number says "not shared"
Not every platform shares every number. TikTok shares views and likes, but not reach. Google shares views of your listing, calls and direction requests, but not likes. When a platform doesn't share a number, the account's row says not shared instead of showing a zero.
When your posts go out
Once 8 of your posts have gone out, we find the hours when your posts get the most engagement. We then use those hours for the posting times you've left for us to choose. You can set your own times at any time in Settings > Schedule, and we always use yours. To let us choose again, tap Let us choose all the times under your times.
